C&A Group is seeking a motivated and dependable Shipper/Receiver Assistant to join our Operations team in Lethbridge, Alberta.
In this hands-on role, you will support the efficient receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipment of materials or products that help power projects across Western Canada. As a Shipper/Receiver Assistant, you will:
- Receive, inspect, label, and organize incoming materials and supplies
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments for customers, vendors, and project sites
- Load and unload trucks using material handling equipment
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization
- Stage materials for production and project requirements
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse and yard areas
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, telehandlers, and company vehicles when trained and authorized
- Support daily housekeeping and 5S initiatives
- Assist with yard maintenance, snow removal, and general shop upkeep
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures while contributing to a strong safety culture
- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to perform physical work and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Warehouse, shipping, receiving, manufacturing, or logistics experience
- Forklift and/or telehandler experience
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Experience with shipping documentation, packing slips, and inventory records
- Experience in shipping, logistics, inventory control, and equipment operation
- Training and certification opportunities

Compensation: $20.00-$24.00 per hour, based on experience
