Material Handler / General Labour
Location: Etobicoke, ON
Shifts: Days, Afternoons, or Nights
Starting Wage: $17.93/hour
Position Summary
As a Material Handler / General Labourer, you will play an important role in supporting production by handling materials, building skids, and ensuring products are moved safely and efficiently throughout the facility.
Duties & Responsibilities- Build skids at the end of the production line according to production requirements.
- Operate a forklift when required.
- Use a pump truck to move pallets to designated areas.
- Complete production documentation accurately.
- Follow all company production, quality, safety, and security policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other general labour duties as assigned.
- Previous material handling or warehouse experience is an asset.
- Forklift experience is preferred.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Comfortable with frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Able to lift up to 30–40 lbs on a regular basis.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Noisy and warm work conditions.
- CSA-approved steel-toed safety footwear is required.
- Eye and hearing protection must be worn.
