Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager – Food Service assists the Restaurant Manager in planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating the overall operations of the restaurant. Duties include:

• Assist in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating daily restaurant operations

• Participate in developing work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities of staff

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance

• Help manage budgets, control costs, and monitor sales and labour expenses

• Assist in ordering food, supplies, and equipment and maintaining inventory levels

• Ensure food quality, customer service, and cleanliness standards are consistently met

• Address customer complaints and implement service improvements

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations

• Assist in preparing reports related to sales, staffing, and operational performance

• Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving business and operational goals

• 6 Months Relevant Experience - Food Service Supervisor
