Job Description
Canoco Energy Services is seeking experienced Journeyperson, Apprentice, and experienced unticketed Carpenters to join our growing team in Edmonton, Calgary, and surrounding areas ASAP. We are looking for dependable individuals with experience in commercial, industrial, and civil construction who take pride in delivering safe, high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry work safely and efficiently in accordance with company and site requirements
- Construct, install, and dismantle concrete formwork for foundations, grade beams, slabs, walls, and other civil structures
- Assist with concrete placement, finishing preparation, and site layout activities
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, metal, and other construction materials
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Participate in safety meetings, inspections, and hazard assessments
- Complete required documentation as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Journeyperson Carpenters, Apprentice Carpenters, or experienced unticketed carpenters
- Experience with concrete formwork, framing, renovations, and general carpentry is considered a strong asset
- Valid CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, and Fall Protection
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract is preferred
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions
