Working in a steel distribution yard, you will work with forklift operators, attaching chains to a crane to lift products from containers, trailers, and rail flatbeds. Tasks include lifting ends and shifting so the forklift can grab. High attention to detail and awareness of surroundings are required since you will be working around heavy machine operating equipment.
Additional details:
- Working in different weather conditions.
- Physically able to be active on your feet all day, including getting in and out of containers.
- General labour duties such as yard clean-up and organization.
- Clear English communication is required.
