Part-Time Office Cleaner – Bancroft

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Cleaner to join our team at our Bancroft location. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our office and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize offices, exam rooms, reception areas, washrooms, and common spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all designated areas.
• Empty garbage and recycling bins and replace liners as needed.
• Restock washroom and kitchen supplies, including paper products and soap.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and high-touch areas regularly.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or supply shortages to management.
• Safely use and store cleaning products and equipment in accordance with workplace procedures.
• Follow established health and safety policies, including infection prevention and control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Previous commercial or office cleaning experience is considered an asset but is not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Work Conditions:

• Part-time position based at our Bancroft location hours are Monday to Friday 3:30pm to 7:30pm
• Evening and/or weekend shifts may be required.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying cleaning supplies and equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Work involves routine use of cleaning chemicals and equipment while following appropriate safety procedures.
