Coolant Handler

Position Summary:

The Coolant Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient running of the CNC Machines through the maintenance and monitoring of coolant levels.

• Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hour weekly rotating shifts

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Measure coolant height, concentration, and foam presence during machine operation and in chip-drip collection tray.
• Pump out coolant, clean machines, and recharge coolant levels.
• Accurately record activities in the fluid monitoring maintenance log.
• Report and clean-up all coolant spills.
• General housekeeping to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Mathematical aptitude.
• Ability to prioritize & multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Strong hand/ eye coordination.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
