Our Banking client is looking for a Social Media Manager to join their team. This will be 12+ months in duration, fulltime hours per week, and 4x per week onsite @ Queen East and Parliament.
Rate range is $45-55 per hour t4.
This role will be responsible for developing social media strategies, creating compelling content, analyzing performance metrics, and delivering actionable insights to optimize campaigns across key social platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with business, marketing, and brand objectives.
- Create, manage, and optimize engaging content across social channels, ensuring consistency with brand and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor social media performance using analytics tools, tracking KPIs, audience engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
- Prepare regular reporting and provide data-driven recommendations to improve content, targeting, and overall social performance.
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to drive innovation and engagement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, marketing teams, and agency partners to support integrated campaigns and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Experience managing social media programs for large organizations, preferably within banking, financial services, or other regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of social media strategy, content creation, analytics, and reporting.
- Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
