Copywriter

Copywriter

Our FI client is looking for a Copywriter to join their team for 6+ months.

This is fulltime hours per week, 4x per week onsite downtown (Queen East) and the rate range is $40-50 per hour T4.

Key Responsibilities

• Write copy for ads, emails, landing pages, brochures, social posts, and in-branch materials.
• Maintain a consistent voice that builds trust and supports the bank's value proposition.
• Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure accuracy and regulatory alignment.
• Partner with design, product, and digital teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
• Write and refine content for SEO, readability, and conversion.
• Apply research and data to strengthen messaging.

Required Skills and Experience

• Ability to simplify banking, credit, lending, and digital banking topics.
• Skilled in concise, persuasive, customer-focused writing.
• Understanding of disclosure and compliance requirements.
• Familiar with SEO, UX writing, email strategy, and social media.
• Able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Portfolio with both short-form and long-form marketing work
