What You'll Do
- Perform TIG welding on sheet metal and fabricated components
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal products according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Inspect welds for quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, grinders, and hand tools
- Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications
- Work closely with Production and Quality teams to meet manufacturing schedules
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Welding apprenticeship, trade certification, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience with MIG and TIG welding in a manufacturing environment
- Strong blueprint reading and fabrication skills
- Experience welding sheet metal, steel, stainless steel, or aluminum
- Knowledge of welding safety standards and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) Certification is an asset
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication or metal manufacturing
- Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment
