About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Desktop Tech Support professional to join our team on-site in North York. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for resolving end-user technical issues, managing hardware and software support requests, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations for our team.
- Provide hands-on desktop support for end users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers
- Manage and resolve support tickets through the company ticketing system in a timely manner
- Support and maintain Active Directory user accounts and permissions
- Assist with basic networking troubleshooting (connectivity, printers, shared drives, etc.)
- Ensure systems are running on Windows 11 and assist with upgrades/migrations as needed
- Document recurring issues and solutions to improve support efficiency
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary
- Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient support to all end users
- 2+ years of experience in a desktop support or IT helpdesk role
- Hands-on experience with Windows 11
- Experience working with a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk, Freshservice, or similar)
- Working knowledge of Active Directory (user/account management)
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (connectivity, troubleshooting)
- Experience supporting end-user hardware: desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work full-time on-site, Monday to Friday
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+)
- Experience supporting a mobile device management (MDM) platform
- Prior experience in a corporate/office environment
- Monday to Friday
- Full-time, 40 hours/week
