Preventative Maintenance - Afternoon Shift

Can you handle the heat?! We are looking for a Preventative Maintenance Associate to work in a high heat environment in Acton! Full-time hours, long-term position! Overhead hoist repair experience is an asset.

Job Duties:

• Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot stationary and rotating industrial machinery.
• Perform corrective maintenance on production equipment including overhead cranes, hoists, filter press, pumps, dust collectors, and hydraulic/pneumatic circuits.
• Troubleshoot machinery and equipment during failures that may be related to mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic causes.
• Repair and overhaul pumps and transmission assemblies.
• Install and/or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
• Test electrical equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical control systems and other related devices.
• Work at heights during the execution of maintenance activities.
• Design and/or fabricate jigs that aid during the installation and repair of machinery or enhance the production process.
• Provide feedback on the causes of equipment failure to improve the preventive maintenance program.
• Report work done using the maintenance work order system.
• Report on equipment defects or failures to the maintenance supervisor.
• Participate in the creation of maintenance repair, start-up/reset, and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum five (5) years of hands-on experience in a maintenance-related role in an industrial environment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams during the troubleshooting of failures or during the continuous improvement process of those systems.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to lift, bend, twist, and kneel.
• Able to work 10 to 12-hour shifts.
• Able to work in a high heat environment.
• Comfortable wearing a hard hat and other PPE.

Note: Overhead hoist experience is an asset!

Shift:

• Monday - Thursday, 9 PM - 7 AM

Pay Rate:

• $24/hour
• Weekly pay every Friday
• Overtime opportunities are available
