General Labourer

Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and hardworking General Labourers to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for picking, packing, sorting, and preparing products for shipment while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This position requires standing and walking for extended periods throughout the shift and working efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick products according to order requirements.
• Pack products securely following company standards.
• Inspect items for damages or defects before packing.
• Assist with inventory counts and report any discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to achieve daily production targets.
• Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8–12 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull products as required.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or general labour experience is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Must have CSA-approved safety shoes.

Availability Requirements

• Candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule from Monday through Sunday.
• Must be able to work day, afternoon, and weekend shifts as required by operational needs.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required is considered an asset.

Working Conditions

• Warehouse environment with normal temperature and noise levels.
• Compliance with all company health and safety policies is required.
• Safety shoes are mandatory at all times while working in the warehouse.

Pay Rate

$17.60 per hour

Shift Options

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Note: Shift schedules may vary based on business needs. Candidates must have full availability and be flexible to work Monday through Sunday, including weekends and holidays if required.
