Mechanical Assembler
Location: Mississauga, ON
Shift: Full-Time | Flexible Start Times (as early as 5:00 AM)

Pay: Competitive, based on experience

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Assembler to join our team. If you have experience building custom machinery and enjoy working with mechanical equipment, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble custom machinery and equipment using blueprints and engineering drawings
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete assemblies
• Troubleshoot mechanical assembly issues
• Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely
• Use precision measuring tools to verify tolerances
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet deadlines

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience assembling custom machinery
• Certificate in Millwright, Machinist, Tool & Die, or equivalent experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience using precision measuring tools
• Forklift and overhead crane certification is an asset
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods
• Willingness to travel occasionally for machine installation and service
