We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Administrator to manage the tracking, distribution, maintenance, and inventory control of tools, equipment, PPE, and consumable materials. This role plays a critical part in supporting field operations by ensuring assets are accurately tracked, properly maintained, and readily available when needed. The ideal candidate has strong administrative skills, inventory management experience, and a proactive approach to customer service and problem-solving.
Key ResponsibilitiesInventory & Asset Management- Issue and receive tools, equipment, PPE, and consumables.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and asset tracking systems.
- Perform routine inventory counts, audits, and reconciliations.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages or replenishment needs.
- Inspect tools and equipment for damage, cleanliness, and functionality.
- Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and servicing of company assets.
- Investigate missing, damaged, or unreturned tools and equipment.
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are properly organized, labeled, and stored.
- Process tool and equipment requests from project teams.
- Coordinate the delivery and return of tools and equipment between locations.
- Support employees with inventory, equipment, and tool-related inquiries.
- Ensure project teams have timely access to the tools and resources required to perform their work safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inventory and storage environment.
- Follow established safety policies, procedures, and inventory control processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of asset movements, repairs, and inventory transactions.
- Generate inventory reports and provide updates on inventory levels and asset usage.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management and operational efficiency.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of inventory control procedures.
- 3+ years of experience in inventory administration, inventory control, warehouse coordination, tool crib operations, or asset management.
- Strong administrative and record-keeping experience.
- Experience tracking inventory and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in the construction, industrial, manufacturing, or trades environment.
- Knowledge of construction tools, equipment, PPE, and basic safety practices.
- Experience using inventory management, ERP, or asset tracking systems.
