Part-Time Client Services Coordinator Wanted

Oxford Learning Edmonton Summerside is looking for an organized, energetic, and personable Client Services Coordinator to join our team and help students achieve academic success.

Work with kids and their families to help students of all ages achieve academic success. Oxford Learning programs impart new approaches to learning, designed to last a lifetime. We teach students from pre-school to secondary levels how to learn, concentrate, listen, and remember. But most importantly, to believe in themselves as they reach their academic dreams.

Job details:

This role is in-person. You must be able to commute to this location. This is not an online job. Relocation packages are not available.

This position will involve Monday-Thursday afternoon and evenings and Saturday mornings. The successful candidate will be trained in our systems, methodologies, and approach.

Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.

Responsibilities (Position Details):

As the Client Services Coordinator you participate in the centre's operations, including working with multiple people from centre staff to teachers, to parents, and of course, the students! You will have the following responsibilities:

  • Welcome families and respond to phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
  • Explain Oxford Learning programs and guide prospective families through the enrolment process.
  • Schedule students, teachers, assessments, and appointments.
  • Administer assessments and assist with program planning.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and scheduling.
  • Maintain accurate student records and centre documentation.
  • Support daily centre operations and ensure a welcoming, organized environment.
  • Support teachers and help ensure Oxford Learning procedures are followed.
  • Build relationships with local schools and community organizations.
  • Teach students or provide instructional support when needed to ensure smooth centre operations.

You will be the first point of contact for families, manage daily administrative operations, coordinate student programs, communicate with parents, and support teaching staff to ensure the centre runs smoothly.

We encourage you to apply if you have the majority of the following requirements:

Education:

  • Graduate from a university degree program or currently completing (Education, Psychology, Business, Languages, Social Sciences, or a related field preferred).
  • Strong secondary school mathematics skills are an asset
  • Additional language(s) spoken is an asset - fluent French is recommended

Experience:

  • Experience working with children, tutoring, customer service, retail, camps, recreation, or administrative roles is considered an asset, but not required.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Work in a business environment is an asset
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, online communication apps)
  • Comfortable speaking with parents in person and over the phone.
  • Sales or client relationship experience is considered an asset.

Job Type: Part-Time

Starting wage: $18 / hour

Schedule:

  • Monday - Thursday 12pm - 6pm (required)
  • Saturday 9am - 1pm (occasionally)
  • Occasional evening availability until 8:00 p.m. may be required.
