Compensation: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour (based on experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Window Glass Installation Helper to join our growing team. In this role, you will work directly alongside our lead installers to safely and efficiently install, repair, and replace glass windows and doors in residential and commercial properties.

This is a hands-on, physical role perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being on the move, and is eager to learn the glazing trade.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Installers: Help with the fitting of glass panes, frames, and hardware.
• Material Handling: Safely load, secure, transport, and unload fragile glass panels, windows, doors, and heavy equipment.
• Site Preparation & Cleanup: Prepare the work area with drop cloths and safety barriers, and ensure the site is left spotless after the installation is complete.
• Tool Management: Keep tools organized, clean, and readily available for the lead installer during projects.
• Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all company safety protocols and provincial safety guidelines when handling glass and working at heights.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Driving Credentials: A valid G-class driver's license and a clean driving record are strictly required, as you will be driving company vehicles to and from job sites.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver heavy and awkward loads on a regular basis.
• Comfort with Heights: Willingness and ability to work safely on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated platforms.
• Tool Proficiency: Basic familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and tape measures.
• Work Ethic & Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and capable of taking direction in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer Service: A professional and respectful demeanor when interacting with clients on their property.
• Prior experience in general labor, carpentry, or window installation is a strong asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Work Environment

• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Early morning starts and rare occasional overtime may be required depending on project deadlines.
