What You'll DoSet up and operate CNC Lathe and Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) machinesPerform machine setups and tool offsetsOperate machines with live toolingRead and interpret blueprints and engineering drawingsInspect finished components using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and precision measuring instrumentsProduce high-quality precision machined components while maintaining tight tolerancesMake machine adjustments to maintain quality and production standardsPerform routine machine checks and maintain a clean and safe work areaFollow all quality, safety, and production procedures
QualificationsMinimum 2 years of CNC Lathe, VTL, or Manual Lathe experienceExperience performing machine setup and operationLive tooling experience is requiredAbility to read blueprints and technical drawingsExperience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring toolsExperience working to tight tolerancesStrong attention to detail and qualityReliable and able to work rotating shiftsLegally authorized to work in Canada
