Revit Modeler – Electrical (Building Systems)

About Our Client
Our client is a well-established engineering firm recognized for its technical rigor, multidisciplinary approach, and advanced use of technologies such as Revit and BIM. Due to sustained growth, the company is looking to welcome a Revit Modeler (Electrical) to strengthen its team and contribute to a variety of stimulating projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed 3D electrical models using Revit based on plans and specifications provided by engineers or architects
- Model electrical building systems, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems
- Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to ensure the consistency and accuracy of drawings
- Participate in coordination meetings to discuss technical aspects of projects
- Maintain BIM standards and ensure proper file management
- Identify inconsistencies in drawings and propose adjustments
- Update models based on changes made throughout the project
Candidate Profile
- Technical training in building drafting, electrical engineering technology, architecture, or a related field
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a Revit modeling role, ideally with a focus on electrical systems
- Excellent proficiency in Revit; knowledge of Navisworks, AutoCAD, or BIM 360 is an asset
- Rigor, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Autonomy, proactivity, and a strong sense of responsibility
