Our client is a non-profit community center providing services to the community for over 30 years!
HR Benefits & Compensation Specialist required for their HR team. Successful candidate must be able to work onsite in North York, with occasional travel to Milton and Barrie.

This is a temporary position with potential for long term.

Requirements

- Degree in Human Resources and/or related field of study

- CHRP designation preferred

- Minimum 2+ years of HR and benefits administration experience.

- Maintains current, up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes, employment law, and related professional education.

- Strong HRIS and reporting experience.

- Solutions focused and proactive mindset

- Excellent communication skills

- Possesses valid Class G driver's license and ability to travel to other local facilities.

- Leave management and disability administration

- Employee and Management support of HR programs and policies

- Payroll and HR systems support

- Pay equity and HR compliance

- WSIB management and compliance
