Our client is a leading global investment and asset management organization with a strong reputation for excellence, innovation, and long-term growth. They are currently seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to join their Vancouver office on a two-year fixed-term contract. THE ROLE

Reporting to the Director of FP&A, the Senior Manager, FP&A will lead a team while working closely with senior leadership to influence key business decisions through financial planning, modelling, forecasting, and strategic analysis. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and management reporting processes.
  • Deliver meaningful financial analysis and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Develop and enhance complex financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, insights, and business opportunities.
  • Partner with business leaders across Finance, Asset Management, Operations, and other functional teams to support key initiatives.
  • Lead financial analysis for strategic projects, including corporate initiatives, operational improvements, and M&A activities.
  • Prepare executive and Board-level reporting, presentations, and business cases.
  • Develop and enhance KPI reporting and management dashboards.
  • Lead onboarding, mentoring, and development of junior members of the FP&A team.
  • Drive process improvements, reporting standardization, automation, and operational efficiencies across the finance function.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and become a trusted business partner across the organization.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • CPA designation required. CFA and/or MBA are considered strong assets.
  • 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership within an FP&A environment.
  • Previous experience managing and developing finance professionals.
  • Strong financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling expertise.
  • Excellent understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and business drivers.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience building sophisticated financial models.
  • Experience working with large data sets and tools such as Power Query and SQL is considered an asset.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to prepare presentations for executive leadership.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Private Equity, Asset Management, Real Estate, or Financial Services experience is considered an asset.
  • A passion for continuous improvement, process optimization, and leveraging technology to improve reporting and analysis.
