Job Summary
The Junior Analyst, Performance & Compliance, OCIF is a critical role in supporting the OCIF investments by ensuring that funded projects adhere to established governance and regulatory frameworks, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, transparency, and compliance.
The Junior Analyst is responsible for evaluating project performance, validating milestone achievement, identifying risks, managing legal and Access to Information Act (ATIA) documentation. The role provides recommendations that support funding, portfolio oversight, and effective contract administration, contributing to the continuous improvement in monitoring, reporting, and portfolio performance.
The role also involves collaboration with fund managers and legal teams to maintain robust documentation and support contract management, while using AI-enabled tools to ensure operational integrity.
Note: This position is a fixed term 12-month maternity leave cover.
Key Responsibilities
- Review beneficiary submissions to validate milestone achievement, project metrics, and compliance with funding agreements.
- Conduct monitoring and compliance assessments to evaluate reported outcomes, financial information, and overall project performance.
- Identify compliance, financial, reporting, and performance risks and escalate issues requiring corrective action.
- Recommend milestone payments, contract amendments, or other actions based on compliance and performance outcomes.
- Coordinate contract amendments and ensure alignment with legal, governance, and reporting requirements.
- Maintain internal controls, documentation, and tracking tools to support audit readiness and portfolio oversight.
- Support preparation of internal and external reporting, briefing materials, and other OCIF deliverables.
- Manage portfolio data, reporting systems, and tracking tools to support monitoring, compliance, and portfolio oversight.
- Compile, validate, and analyze data for internal and external reporting.
- Ensure proper documentation of decisions, correspondence, and actions related to any ATIA requests to support transparency, accountability, and audit readiness.
- Review and coordinate contract amendments and governance documentation.
- Ensure documentation aligns with OCIF governance and regulatory frameworks.

Youre detail-oriented, organized, and committed to ensuring accuracy and accountability in everything you do. You have a strong understanding of compliance, governance, and reporting, and youre comfortable working with legal documents, tracking milestones, and preparing clear, data-driven reports.
Youre skilled with tools like Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems, and project management platforms, and you bring a proactive approach to problem-solving, along with strong business and financial acumen to support informed decision-making and organizational goals.
Education
Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting,Finance, or a related discipline.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
