Primary Purpose and Function: To assist the extruder operator in setting up and operating Extrusion Laminators.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform set-ups and operation of machine.
- Direct and supervise helper.
- Perform quality checks and ensure correct specifications.
- Load and unload materials from the machine.
- Perform some part replacements on dies and extruders.
Responsibilities:
- Understand general substrate surfaces (unwind direction).
- Make and perform splices.
- Monitor and keep machine running for short periods of time.
