Experienced Dental Receptionist

WORKFORCE Dental Staffing is currently recruiting an on behalf of a well-established dental practice in Vancouver that is looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a minimum of 5 years of dental reception experience who is looking for a long-term position in a supportive, collaborative practice. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, confident with dental insurance and treatment planning, and enjoys providing an exceptional patient experience from start to finish.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Monday & Friday: 6:45 AM to 3:00 PM
• Tuesday to Thursday: 6:45 AM to 4:00 PM
• 4-day schedule may be also be considered

Compensation & Benefits

• $35-$39 per hour, depending on experience
• Dental benefits after successful completion of probation

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of dental reception experience
• Tracker software proficiency
• Strong knowledge of the BC General Practitioner Fee Guide
• Extensive experience with dental insurance, claims, and pre-authorizations
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Strong English verbal and written communication
• Looking for a long-term opportunity

Responsibilities

• Manage all front desk responsibilities efficiently and professionally
• Schedule appointments and ensure each day is well prepared
• Process insurance claims, benefit breakdowns, pre-authorizations, treatment estimates, and financial arrangements
• Communicate effectively with patients and the clinical team
• Follow office systems while anticipating and resolving issues proactively
• Help support and mentor a newer receptionist
• Contribute to the continued growth and success of the practice
