Irrigation Technician

We're looking for a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our growing operations. This isn't just a job where you show up, turn wrenches, and clock out. You'll be a trusted expert on our team — someone our clients and colleagues can count on when systems need installing, troubleshooting, or rescuing in a pinch.

Day-to-day, you'll be:

• Installing new irrigation systems from the ground up
• Diagnosing and repairing issues with existing systems — including emergency call-outs when things go sideways
• Handling seasonal opens and closes with care and precision
• Ordering and tracking materials to keep jobs on schedule
• Staying sharp with ongoing training and weekly check-ins with our Head of Operations
• Representing LFX professionally on every job site — our reputation rides on yours

You don't have to be perfect — but you do have to be the right fit. Here's what we need:

• At least 5 years' of hands-on irrigation experience
• Full G Driver's License in good standing (clean abstract required)
• Comfortable using a range of hand and power tools — including hand trenching with a shovel
• Physical capability to lift up to 60 lbs and handle demanding outdoor work
• Availability for 45+ hours per week (Mon–Fri), with occasional Saturdays during peak season
• A positive attitude and genuine respect for coworkers and clients alike
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle priorities without dropping the ball

Bonus points if you have:

• Knowledge of city and lake water systems
• Experience towing and driving with a trailer

This role is physically demanding and largely outdoors — you'll work across job sites including active construction zones. Overtime can happen, especially in peak season, and we'll always make sure you're properly equipped with the required safety gear (steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and more).
