Loader/Forklift Operator

ABL Employment is currently hiring a Loader/Forklift Operator for our client in the steel manufacturing industry. We're looking for a dependable, safety-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse/yard environment.

Location: Woodbridge, ON (Steeles/Islington)

Pay: $22.00/hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)

Responsibilities:

• Build and assemble bundles according to customer order specifications.
• Prepare and organize orders for efficient truck loading.
• Load and unload trucks safely using a forklift.
• Organize materials in the yard to maximize space and improve workflow.
• Ensure orders are accurate and ready for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous forklift experience is required.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or yard operations is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Experience strapping materials and preparing shipments is considered an asset.
