What You'll DoAs the Business Development Manager, you will drive company growth by identifying new business opportunities and cultivating long-term relationships within the commercial and residential construction sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to increase market share and revenue growth
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the hospitality, commercial, and residential construction sectors
- Target restaurant groups, hotel operators, developers, architects, designers, and general contractors
- Execute lead generation strategies and maintain an active presence within industry networks
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, developers, property owners, and key stakeholders
- Proactively manage sales pipelines and track client engagement throughout the sales cycle
- Leverage existing industry contacts to generate new opportunities and referrals
- Collaborate closely with the estimating team to develop competitive proposals, project bids, and winning solutions
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, presentations, and networking activities
- Negotiate contracts and oversee the sales process from opportunity identification through project award
- Stay informed on industry trends, upcoming construction projects, and market opportunities
- 3+ years of proven sales or business development experience within the construction, millwork, or related industries
- Custom millwork experience is required
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction projects and millwork applications
- Existing contacts and relationships within the hospitality, construction, architectural, design, or development communities are considered a strong asset
- Demonstrated success in generating and closing new business opportunities
- Exceptional networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel regularly for client meetings and site visits
