BeyondCrayons is a licensed home child care agency operating under Ontario's Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), supporting home-based child care providers across Peel Region and Wellington County. We handle the licensing, compliance, and administrative heavy lifting so you can focus on what you do best: caring for children in a warm, home-based setting.

About the Role

We're looking for caring, experienced individuals to operate a licensed home child care setting in their own home, under the supervision and support of BeyondCrayons. As a provider, you'll care for a small group of children in a safe, nurturing, home-based environment while BeyondCrayons provides ongoing support, home visits, mentorship, and regulatory guidance.

What You'll Do

• Provide safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate care for children in your home
• Follow BeyondCrayons' policies and procedures in line with CCEYA licensing requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and child-friendly home environment
• Build genuine relationships with children and open, honest communication with parents
• Participate in regular home visits, mentoring sessions, and training provided by BeyondCrayons
• Keep required documentation (attendance, daily logs, incident reports, etc.) up to date

What We're Looking For

• Genuine passion for early childhood development and care
• Previous experience caring for children (professionally or as a parent/guardian) preferred
• A safe, suitable home environment that meets licensing requirements (or willingness to prepare one)
• Up-to-date Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Current First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain one)
• Reliable, patient, and communicative — comfortable working independently while staying connected to a supportive team
• Legally able to work in Canada
