Our client, a well-established commercial general contractor, is looking for an experienced Contracts Specialist to oversee the full lifecycle of construction contracts across a diverse portfolio of design-build and commercial projects.
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you'll take ownership of prime contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, consultant agreements, change management, and project closeout.
This is a hands-on role that works closely with project teams to ensure contracts are administered accurately, risks are managed proactively, and projects remain compliant throughout their lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of contract administration experience within the Canadian construction industry
- Strong knowledge of CCDC contracts (CCDC 2, 5B, and 14 preferred)
- Experience administering subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, and contractual documentation
- Understanding of the BC Builders Lien Act and construction contract principles
- Highly organized with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management software is considered an asset
