Position Summary
ICE Western Sales Ltd. is seeking a Shipper/ Receiverto support material handling, inventory accuracy, and outbound shipping operations. This role is critical to ensuring HVAC units and materials are safely received, stored, and shipped according to schedule. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and experienced in warehouse and forklift operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Load HVAC units onto trucks using forklifts and overhead cranes
- Provide accurate unit measurements for shipping coordination
- Schedule shipments both online and via phone
- Pack items for shipping and distribution
- Prepare shipping and receiving documentation
- Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials
- Verify receipts and packing slips against purchase orders
- Receive orders into the inventory system
- Place and organize stock on warehouse shelves
- Record quantity, type, and value of stock using computerized inventory systems
- Monitor inventory levels both in-system and on the shop floor
- Pick parts and materials to fill work orders
- Reconcile system inventory with physical counts
- Conduct basic quality control checks on incoming and outgoing materials
- Maintain general warehouse and yard organization
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
- Perform routine clerical duties related to inventory and shipping
- Assist staff by providing information on material availability
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of forklift experience
- Valid forklift certification required
- Valid drivers license
- Experience in shipping and receiving operations
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Customer serviceoriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated initiative, leadership, and team spirit
- Crane and rigging experience is considered an asset
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday: 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm

- Steel-toed safety boots (required)
