General Labourer – Warehouse
Location: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
Pay Rate: $18.15 per hour
Employment Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available

Position Overview
We are currently seeking motivated and reliable General Labourers to join our warehouse team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This is a physically demanding role involving trailer unloading, order picking, and handling large appliances and commodities. Permanent opportunities may be available for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload trailers and handle large appliances and commodities.
- Pick and prepare orders accurately and efficiently.
- Move, organize, and stage products within the warehouse.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum previous warehouse experience required.
- Ability to regularly lift between 50 lbs and 75 lbs.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience using material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and dollies.
- Clamp Truck experience is considered a strong asset but is not required.
- Must possess CSA-approved steel-toe safety footwear.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Must provide a clean criminal background check.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada with a valid work permit, Permanent Residency, or Canadian Citizenship.
Schedule
- Operations run seven days per week between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
- Most shifts are 8.5 hours, including a 30-minute unpaid meal break.
- Candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule and be open to various shift times and days.
- Full-time employees typically work 40 hours per week.
- Part-time and flexible schedules are available for candidates seeking supplemental income.
- Overtime is paid after 48 hours worked per week, in accordance with provincial regulations.
