Production Electronics Technician wanted to join an established company that manufactures LED screens throughout the GTA and Canada! We are looking for someone with 3+ years of experience testing electronic devices and in Quality Control. College Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Technology preferred. You will be focusing on Quality Control and product assembly, sub-assembly or components, configuration and ensuring all units are properly integrated and thoroughly tested. Pay: $19/hr+ depending on experience Hours: Monday- Friday 7am-7:30pm - must be flexible to work possible overtime if needed. Your role will include the following: Identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical, hardware, software, and network issues by reviewing technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagram. Conduct test plans, procedures, and scripts to validate performances. Verify dimensions and clearance of components to ensure conformance to production drawing and other specifications Imaging and preparing PC by installing OS, drivers, and required software. Configuring modems, cameras, routers for IP address, firmware, including network settings, port forwarding, and security options and conducting integral functioning with the digital display. Perform testing using multimeter, Luminance and Colour Meter (if applicable). Conduct life tests on assemblies, burn-in procedures, record data, and analyze results (if applicable) . Complete checklist and maintain test records, logs, and detailed reports on system performance. Work with IT for cyber security guidelines. Responsible for population, wiring electronic components including LED modules, panels (cortex load center), etc. into assembly frame You will be using basic hand tools (manual and pneumatic) such as wrenches, drivers, sockets, rivets, etc. while working closely with production, engineering and quality assurance teams.
