About the Role

We are seeking a Licensed Electrician to support the assembly, wiring, and commissioning of complex heavy industrial equipment. This role is hands-on and shop-floor based, involving electrical installation, troubleshooting, and integration of electrical systems within large-scale machinery.

The ideal candidate has strong industrial electrical experience, machine build exposure, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with both electrical and mechanical integration tasks.

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Perform electrical assembly on heavy industrial equipment including panel wiring, conduit installation, and system integration
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, wire lists, and color codes
• Install and size conduit, seal-tight, cab-tire, and technical cabling on equipment
• Perform power wiring (110–750VAC, single and three phase) and low-voltage DC wiring (0–24V)
• Support equipment commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting activities
• Inspect and verify electrical work completed by assembly teams for quality and compliance
• Assist with mechanical and hydraulic assembly where required
• Perform shop and equipment maintenance as needed
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes (CEC, NEC) and internal safety standards
• Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly and build process
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve build and wiring issues

Qualifications / Requirements

• Licensed Electrician (Industrial 442A or Construction & Maintenance 309A) required
• Experience in industrial machine building or heavy equipment manufacturing
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Hands-on experience with electrical measurement tools (multimeters, calibrators, etc.)
• Knowledge of conduit sizing and industrial wiring practices
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work in cross-functional assembly environments
• Comfortable working rotating shifts and overtime
