Material Handler / Walkie Operator (Evening)

Job Title: Material Handler / Walkie OperatorLocation: Dartmouth, NSWork Type: Contract / TempSalary: $18.75/hr + Evening PremiumWhat you'll do

• Order Picking & Packing: Accurately pick various veterinary supplies and medications to fulfill branch and clinic orders. Pack and label these products to ensure they arrive securely and undamaged.
• Shipping & Receiving: Process incoming shipments of medical supplies. Inspect goods for quality and damages, and stage outgoing deliveries for drivers.
• Inventory Management: Store products in appropriate warehouse areas. Track stock levels using the company's warehouse management or ERP system, and assist with regular cycle counts to prevent shortages.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or dollies, to transport and stage goods within the facility.
• Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse, ensuring hazardous materials or pharmaceuticals are handled according to safety and quality guidelines

What You'll Bring

• Warehouse experience of at least 1 year
• Forklift license is active and valid
• Order picking and shipping/receiving
