HR Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and execute HR strategies across a multi-province workforce. Reporting to the Controller, this role oversees the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, performance management, compensation, and HR operations while supporting business growth and fostering a strong, values-driven culture.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
  • Develop and execute HR strategies that support business growth and organizational goals
  • Manage talent acquisition, workforce planning, onboarding, and succession planning initiatives
  • Lead employee relations, performance management, and leadership coaching across the organization
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, HR policies, and regulatory requirements across multiple provinces
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, payroll governance, and HR operations
  • Track HR metrics, improve processes, and provide insights to support business decisions
  • Drive employee engagement, leadership development, and a positive workplace culture
  • Support organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives
Your strengths include:
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience supporting a multi-province workforce
  • CPHR designation or working toward certification is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation, particularly Alberta; BC, Ontario, and Quebec experience is an asset
  • Experience supporting both on-site and remote teams
  • Payroll experience within Canadian jurisdictions
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications or IT industry is an asset
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a clean criminal record check
