Junior Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key responsibilities are as follows:

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.

· Prepare credit cards and bank reconciliation statements, updating AR and AP.

· Prepare K84 – Duty & GST report and make payment to Receiver General.

· Process financial entries, including accounts receivable and payables to ensure proper recording of all business transactions.

· Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.

· Generate and review AR & AP aging analysis for non-payments, delay payments, and other irregularities.

· Notifying debtors of overdue payments and accounts by telephone, mail, and email – including timely follow up if a reply is not received.

· Professional handling of customer inquiries, including providing detailed customer reconciliations and statements as required, resolving payment disputes, and processing payments and refunds.

· HST /Other Government filling.

· Performs other duties as assigned by management.
