Shop Helper

KAY-SON is a proudly Canadian-owned fabrication plant that has been in operation since 1965. Located in Coquitlam, BC, we are a supply-only structural steel fabricator servicing both the Canadian and US markets. As a single-source fabricator, we work closely with our customers to find innovative solutions to complex problems and deal with customer concerns promptly and efficiently. We are looking for an experienced Shop Helper to join our team! Reporting to the Production Manager, the Shop Helper will be responsible for:

• Cutting, grinding, and sorting materials
• Material movement using cranes
• Ensuring the plant is running smoothly, efficiently, and safely

The successful incumbent must possess a hardworking mentality and demonstrate strong attention to detail. Preference will be given to those who are reliable, hold a valid driver's license, and are team players.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs at a time
• Experience operating cranes and forklifts is an asset
