We are currently hiring Deckhands to join our harvest vessel operations in Digby, Nova Scotia. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the aquaculture industry. No previous harvest vessel experience is required—full training will be provided.Working aboard harvest vessels, you'll be part of a dedicated crew responsible for supporting daily harvesting operations in a safe, efficient, and team-oriented environment.
Key Requirements:

Assist with daily harvest vessel operations
Stun and bleed fish during the harvesting process
Support general onboard activities as directed by the crew
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Work collaboratively with crew members in a fast-paced environment
Perform additional duties as assigned

Schedule

July 6 – October 31 (Project Duration)
7 days on / 7 days off rotation
Up to 80 hours during your working week

Compensation

$20.66 per hour
Consistent full-time hours throughout the project

The company will provide the required PPE, including:

Hard hat
Safety glasses
Gloves
High-visibility safety vest

Employees are required to provide:

CSA-approved steel-toe boots
Jeans suitable for outdoor work
