Dairy Production Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining various machinery, ensuring production efficiency, and supporting the overall manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with heavy lifting, and recordkeeping. Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment and processes to ensure smooth operation.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation inspections on machinery and facility to prevent breakdowns and contamination.
• Assist in setup and changeover of line for different production runs.
• Conduct sanitation and quality checks on products to meet company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Support the movement of raw materials and pasteurized products within the facility.
• Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or issues immediately.
• Follow sanitation expectations.
• Record Keeping of Batches.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot production issues effectively.
• Experience with heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for material handling. Must be able to lift 21 Kilograms.
• Familiarity with industrial equipment is a valuable asset but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Basic problem-solving skills and adaptability to new processes or equipment. This position is ideal for individuals who are somewhat mechanically inclined, physically capable, and eager to contribute to a growing manufacturing operation. Applicants should be prepared for hands-on work in a safety-conscious environment that values reliability and teamwork.
• Food handlers course beneficial, although will be required for winning candidate.
