Business Development Specialist

Summary

416 Tactical Supply is seeking a highly organized, personable, and driven Agency Coordinator & Brand Lead to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is charismatic, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities with relationship management and brand growth. You will act as a key point of contact for government agencies and large clients, coordinating quotes for orders of all sizes while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

In addition to agency coordination, you will lead and manage the brands under our distribution, developing strategies to grow their presence, manage product inventory, and support our dealer network across Canada. The ideal candidate is confident working with numbers and thrives in a people-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with government agencies and clients.
• Coordinate and manage quotes for small and large-scale orders, ensuring accurate and fair pricing and a timely delivery.
• Communicate confidently with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Prepare and assist with bids and tenders to prepare pricing, analyze margins, and ensure quotes are competitive and profitable.
• Lead and grow assigned brands within our distributorship portfolio, identifying opportunities for expansion and increased market presence.
• Oversee each brand under our distribution.
• Support and manage dealer relationships, ensuring consistent communication.
• Collaborate with the internal team to streamline administrative processes and improve operational alignment.
• Work directly with Operations Manager and Assistant Manager to fulfill orders and brand strategy.
• Maintain organized records of quotes, orders, and client communications.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative or sales support role.
• Comfortable working with numbers, pricing structures, and basic financial calculations.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and projects with great attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving and brand development.
• Experience working with Shopify or similiar e-commerce platforms is a valuable asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence speaking to clients.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects and responsibilities.
• Experience working with government agencies, procurement processes, or large-scale orders is an asset.
• Familiarity with tactical products or experience with tactical gear, equipment, or related product categories is considered an asset but not required.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week
