Seventh Heaven Event Catering is looking for a dynamic and experienced Catering Delivery Driver to join our growing team. If you're looking for a role that combines your driving skills with your commitment to top-notch customer service, this is the opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Catering Deliveries: Safely deliver and set up catering orders at event locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and surrounding regions.
- Quality Control: Ensure the integrity and quality of food and equipment is maintained from pickup through to delivery and setup.
- Customer Service Excellence: Provide a positive experience for clients by ensuring all catering orders are delivered on time, in perfect condition, and with a professional, friendly attitude.
- Equipment & Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle and packing areas, ensuring all catering equipment is properly handled and tracked.
- Packing & Expedite Assistance: Support the packing and preparation of orders to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
- Documentation: Accurately log mileage, track equipment at client sites, and maintain up-to-date records.
- Dishwashing & Facility Support: Assist with dishwashing and basic maintenance tasks at our facility as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- Valid G Class Ontario Driver's License with a clean driving record (please provide a recent abstract).
- Reliable Transportation: Own a vehicle to commute to and from work (Company vehicle used for deliveries).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, carry 25 lbs, and stand for extended periods (6-8 hours a day).
- Attention to Detail: Ensure orders are delivered accurately and professionally with a keen eye for quality.
- Customer-Focused: A positive, customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
- Team Player: Willingness to assist in various aspects of catering operations as needed.
