The Role

We are looking for an experienced tractor trailer driver who takes pride in their work, prioritizes safety, maintains a positive attitude, and provides excellent service to our customers. Work consists of regional runs across bordering provinces, and local runs to the port in Halifax. These are completed with returning home the same day most days. The driver must be capable of working with minimal supervision while maintaining a high degree of reliability and trustworthiness.

Requirements for the role consist of:

• Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence
• Minimum 3 years of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Clear Drivers Abstracts
• Clear criminal record
• Legally authorized to work in Canada for a minimum of 2 years
• Fluent in English

Additional assets include:

• Ability to operate manual transmission trucks
• At least one season of winter driving experience
• Dangerous goods certificate
• B-train experience
