Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Crew Lead / Foreman to lead a crew and work hands-on in the field. This role requires equipment experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work independently. The position transitions into a Snow Removal Foreman role, managing a commercial snow removal route during the winter months.

Responsibilities

  • Complete landscape construction jobs solo or lead and supervise a landscape crew, including but not limited to grading, sod installations, paver patio & retaining wall installations and hydroseeding.
  • Operate skid steers and excavators safely
  • Loading and delivering bulk materials and aggregates
  • Driving heavy truck and trailer combinations with proven and demonstrable experience driving in winter conditions.
  • Must be able to confidently back up 45 to 50 ft vehicle combinations.
  • Use of laser levelling equipment
  • Assist with shop tasks and hotshot deliveries as needed
  • Maintain safety and a positive work environment

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience operating truck & trailer combinations in extreme conditions
  • Experience operating skid steers and/or excavators (ticket/certification is an asset)
  • Experience in landscape construction, including pavers, retaining walls, compacted gravel pads, sod installation, and hydroseeding
  • Knowledge of laser grading equipment
  • Commercial snow removal experience
  • Experience leading a crew or working independently
  • Must have a valid Class 5 Driver's License and a clean driver's abstract
  • Reliable transportation to Lacombe, AB
  • Physically fit and able to perform outdoor manual labour
