As our next Quality Engineering Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of driving quality excellence across manufacturing operations. Your expertise in quality engineering, data analytics, and process improvement will be critical in ensuring product reliability, optimizing process performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis for process and product quality issues
• Drive Design for Quality and risk mitigation activities
• Lead and maintain PFMEA and other quality planning tools
• Implement and improve digital quality systems including real-time monitoring and analytics platforms
• Design and execute capability studies (Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk) to improve process performance
• Analyze process data to detect trends and prevent process instability
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to improve process capability and compliance
• Ensure adherence to QMS, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards
• Lead and support internal audits, including system, process, and product audits
• Act as the quality interface with customers and support investigations and reporting
• Support supplier quality activities and corrective action processes
• Develop and maintain Control Plans, inspection strategies, and quality standards
• Ensure measurement system capability (MSA) and inspection method effectiveness
• Provide hands-on support in production for troubleshooting and corrective actions
• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing (powder metallurgy preferred)
• Strong knowledge of materials, processes, and analytical techniques
• Experience with statistical tools (SPC, Minitab, JMP)
• Experience with advanced quality systems and data analytics platforms
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
• Experience with Python-based data pipelines and SQL databases for manufacturing data
• Experience implementing real-time monitoring and predictive analytics systems
• Powder Metallurgy Technologist (PMT) certification or willingness to obtain
• Experience in automotive manufacturing environments
• Experience with supplier quality and customer-facing roles
