About the OpportunityWe are currently hiring experienced Quality Inspectors / CMM Programmers for two growing precision CNC machining facilities located in Mississauga and Vaughan.Our clients manufacture high-precision components for the Aerospace, Medical Device, Defence, and Nuclear industries. We are seeking candidates with strong experience in precision CNC machining, CMM programming, quality inspection, GD&T, and dimensional inspection of tight-tolerance machined components.This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable organization that invests in advanced manufacturing technology and offers long-term career growth.
What You'll Do
- Perform First-Off, In-Process, Final, and Incoming Material Inspections
- Program, operate, edit, and validate CMM inspection programs
- Inspect precision CNC machined components to tight tolerances
- Perform dimensional inspections using CMMs, vision systems, and precision measuring equipment
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Apply GD&T principles to verify dimensional accuracy
- Verify product conformity and surface finish requirements
- Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials and products
- Maintain accurate quality documentation and inspection records
- Support root cause investigations and corrective actions
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and quality audits
- Minimum 5 years of Quality Inspection experience in a Precision CNC Machining environment
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on CMM Programming and Operation experience
- Experience inspecting tight-tolerance machined components
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes
- Excellent knowledge of GD&T
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Experience using precision measuring equipment, including:
- Micrometers
- Calipers
- Height Gauges
- Bore Gauges
- Dial Indicators
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
