Were looking for a compassionate, caring, and reliable individual for a part time position in thornhill (Yonge st & centre st). Male client with dementia, lives at home, has 24/7 care, bed ridden (completely dependent). A training shift with the current staff will be provided.
Schedule: Fridays 8am-4pm. Plus the ability to pick up more shifts with our other clients.

Responsibilities
- Assist with full morning care routines (bathing is 2 person assist), transfers are also 2 person assist, feeding, toileting every 2-3 hours, light housekeeping, companionship, medication reminder and assistance, take vital signs etc.
- Meals - specialized instructions (use thickener with all fluids) etc.
- Follow and update care plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting.
- Personal Support Worker Certificate
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Clear Police Record Check (Vulnerable Sector Screening) or willingness to obtain one.
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
- Covid vaccinations.
- Reliable internet access and a mobile phone.
- Experience with Dementia
- Ability to commit to fridays 8am-4pm shift for a minimum of 6 months.
