Summary
Norwex is looking for a motivated and hands-on IT Help Desk Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is essential to keeping our call center and distribution operations running smoothly. You will be the first point of contact for day-to-day technology issues, with a focus on hardware support and end-user assistance. Responsibilities
The IT Help Desk Technician is responsible for
• Provide first-level technical support to call center and distribution center staff
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Zebra label printers and Zebra handheld barcode scanners
• Respond to user-reported issues in a timely and professional manner
• Perform basic hardware and software troubleshooting on Windows 11 workstations
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff with clear documentation of steps taken
• Maintain a log of issues, resolutions, and equipment status
• Assist with device setup, configuration, and basic user onboarding as needed

Qualifications
• Hands-on working knowledge of Windows 11
• Basic troubleshooting aptitude — you approach problems methodically and don't give up easily
• Comfortable working with physical hardware (printers, scanners, cables, peripherals)
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset
• Reliability and punctuality — this role requires consistent on-site presence each morning
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

The following qualifications are preferred and will make the most successful candidates stand out:
• Prior experience with Zebra devices (ZPL, ZSB, or handheld units) is an asset
• Familiarity with ZenDesk ticketing system or basic IT documentation practices
• Any IT coursework, certification (CompTIA IT Fundamentals, A+), or related diploma is a plus

Physical Requirements:
• Part-time, on-site position — morning availability is required daily
• Work takes place in both an office and warehouse/distribution environment
• Some physical activity involved, including moving equipment, bending, and lifting 25 pounds
