Our client is a high-growth, industry-leading industrial equipment provider in Vancouver seeking a dynamic Technical Service Advisor/Technician to help shape the future of their operations.
This is not a behind-the-desk roleyou will be an active member of a national service team, working alongside technicians to drive customer satisfaction.
What Youll Be DoingHands-on Expertise: Serve as the go-to technical resource for electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment repairs.
Operational Strategy: Manage the end-to-end service lifecycle, from diagnostic troubleshooting and parts procurement through to final invoicing and work order closure.
Client Relations: Communicate directly with equipment owners for authorizations and maintain strong business relationships with current and prospective customers.
Leadership & Growth: Take responsibility for monthly and annual operational KPIs, with a seat at the decision-making table to help influence the company's direction.
Management Experience: 3+ years of experience in a service management or supervisory role, paired with a post-secondary diploma or degree.
Technical Aptitude: Strong skills inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing complex faults in heavy mechanical components, hydraulic systems, and electronics.
Business Acumen: An organized, strategic thinker with the ability to prioritize tasks and utilize technical manuals effectively.
Software Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office, with ERP experience (SAP proficiency is a major asset).
Licensing: A valid drivers license (a commercial or heavy vehicle license class is an asset).
