Signature Tool Inc. is currently seeking a motivated and reliable Full-Time CNC Machinist to join our growing team in Oldcastle, Ontario. The successful candidate must be, reliable, punctual, and take pride in producing high-quality work.

This position will focus primarily on CNC machining related to the manufacturing of indexable cutting tools. Daily work is fast paced, non-repetitive, and offers new technical challenges in a clean, safe, and friendly work environment.

This is a permanent position where we hope the right candidate can grow and succeed with our company for many years.

Duties may include (but are not limited to):

CNC Mill 3, 4 & 5 Axis setup and operation
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and tooling prints
Editing and optimizing CNC programs
Tending to multiple machines
Inspection using measuring tools such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, tool pre-setters, etc.
Tooling modification, and assembly
General machine maintenance
Material handling

Requirements:

CNC Machining experience (minimum 2 years preferred)
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to multitask
Experience with tooling or precision machining is an asset
