Benefits:
This isn't a sit-at-your-desk job. You'll be out there — on active job sites, at company milestones, behind the scenes, and front and center at events — capturing the real moments that make our company who we are.
You'll work closely with our marketing and leadership teams to shape the visual story of our brand. From cinematic project showcase reels to quick-turn social content, no two days look the same. That's the point.
If you get excited when golden hour hits, if you instinctively frame a shot when you walk into a room, if you can make a concrete pour look like a Hollywood production — we need to talk.
What You'll DoYour stage is everywhere. Here's what a typical (and totally untypical) week looks like:
- Job Site Coverage — Embed on active project sites to capture the craft, the crew, and the before-to-after transformation in compelling footage
- Company Events — Be the go-to shooter for company milestones, celebrations, team days, and executive presentations. Document the moments that matter
- Edit & Post-Produce — Take raw footage to polished final cuts: color grading, sound design, pacing, motion graphics. You own the full pipeline from shoot to screen
- Social-Ready Content — Create short-form, punchy cuts for LinkedIn, Instagram, and beyond. Understand what performs and deliver it consistently
- Project Showcases — Build powerful project reels that showcase our work to clients, partners, and prospects. Make them stop scrolling
- Interviews & Testimonials — Capture authentic on-camera conversations with team members, clients, and leadership. Real voices, real stories
Must-Haves:
- 2+ years shooting professional video in a commercial, corporate, or documentary context
- Expert with cameras like Sony FX, Canon Cinema, or equivalent — you know your glass and your settings
- Proficient in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or a comparable NLE editing suite
- Comfortable on construction sites, outdoor environments, and formal venues alike — no location intimidates you
- Strong instinct for storytelling — you know when the moment is happening and you're already rolling
- Ability to work independently, manage your own shoot schedule, and meet deadlines
- A portfolio that makes us lean forward in our chairs
Nice-to-Haves:
- Drone/aerial footage certification (Transport Canada UAV or FAA Part 107)
- Motion graphics or Adobe After Effects experience
- Experience with live event coverage and multi-camera setups
- Photography skills to supplement your video work
- Background in construction, trades, or industrial environments
- Experience producing social-first vertical video content for Reels and TikTok
- Gear Budget — Competitive equipment allowance so you're always working with the best tools
- Variety Every Week — No two shoots are the same. Job sites, boardrooms, outdoor events — your backdrop is always changing
- Creative Ownership — You don't just execute briefs. You help shape our visual identity and bring your own ideas to the table
- Competitive Salary + Full Benefits — Strong base pay, health benefits, and paid time off
- Room to Grow — As the company expands, so does your role. Get in on the ground floor of something exciting
- A Real Team — You'll work with people who are genuinely passionate about what we build. Good energy guaranteed
